Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an autonomous steel pipe welding apparatus capable of tracking a weld line and, more specifically, to an autonomous steel pipe welding apparatus capable of tracking a weld line, in which a two-dimensional line scanner for projecting a two-dimensional line onto a welding part using a laser is installed to photograph the two-dimensional line projected onto the welding part using a CCD camera to read the two-dimensional line in order to accurately carry out welding as a welding torch is moved to track one edge of a groove formed on the welding part as a weld line. 본 발명은 용접선 추종이 가능한 자율 주행식 강관 용접장치에 관한 것으로서, 상세하게는 레이저로 2차원 라인을 용접부에 투사하는 2차원 라인 스캐너를 설치하고, 용접부에 투사된 2차원 라인을 CCD 카메라로 촬영한 후 2차원 라인을 판독하여 용접부에 형성된 그루브(groove)중 어느 하나의 엣지(edge)를 용접선으로 하여 이를 추종하면서 용접토치를 이동함으로써 정밀한 용접이 가능하도록 하는 용접선 추종이 가능한 자율 주행식 강관 용접장치에 관한 것이다.
