Textile for Propelling Charge and Manufacturing Method Thereof

A textile for propelling charge according to the present invention keeps gunpowder to be exploded to propel a canon ball and is composed of a fabric composition having 50 to 60 wt% of acryl and 40 to 50 wt% of viscose rayon. A method for manufacturing the textile comprises: a first step, which is a step of weaving a fabric, of manufacturing acrylic yarn by spinning, congelation, elongation and heat treatment, weaving a fabric with the acrylic yarn and winding the same around a winding roller, or forming synthetic yarn by uniformly mixing a fabric composition to form a polymer mixture, mixing the polymer mixture with a solvent and spinning the mixture, weaving a fabric with the synthetic yarn and winding the same around the winding roller; a second step, which is a step of heat treatment, of unwinding the wound fabric and heat-treating the same to remove germs and mold; a third step, which is a step of antifungal and water-repellent treatment, of treating the fabric with the mixed solution of an antifungal agent and a water repellent in the same process to treat the heat-treated fabric with the antifungal agent to inhibit the growth of mold and treat the fabric with the water repellent for preventing the absorption of water into fiber; a fourth step, which is a drying step, of drying the fabric treated with the antifungal agent and the water repellent; and a fifth step, which is a step of winding the textile, of winding, around the textile winding roller, the textile, which is a finished product after drying. According to the textile for propelling charge and the manufacturing method thereof of the present invention, a process can be simplified, antifungal and water-repellent properties are excellent and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
