CUTTING APPARATUS OF A ROUND BAR

The present invention relates to an apparatus to cut a round bar and, more specifically, to an apparatus to cut round bars which are consecutively supplied. The apparatus includes: a sub frame, a cutting unit, and a fixing unit. The sub frame guides the consecutively supplied round bars supplied through a through hole formed on a front end. The cutting unit is mounted on a mounting portion formed on one side of the sub frame, and cuts the round bar by pressing a pressing member provided on an upper part of the sub frame. The fixing unit is adjacent to the cutting unit and is mounted on the mounting portion comprising a lower cutter corresponding to an upper cutter of the cutting unit, and fixates the round bar cut by the upper and lower cutters not to move. An integrated assembly of the cutting unit and the fixing unit is formed to easily perform the replacement of the upper and lower cutters of the cutting unit and the fixing unit, and the integrated assembly is provided on the mounting portion of the sub frame to be drawn out of the mounting portion. By providing the present invention configured to be described above, the upper cover worn down through a long-term cutting work may easily be drawn out along a guide hole, thereby easily replacing the upper cutter and shortening the work hours. Accordingly, workability and productivity may be improved.
