EMERGENCY MECHANICAL BRAKE HOIST

The present invention relates to an emergency brake device for a hoist, which is connected to a hoist including a gear shaft connected to the center of rotary shaft of a drum around which a wire for transferring cargo is rolled or released therefrom, and an electronic brake for electronically braking rotation of the gear shaft, and operates according to a mechanical mechanism when the cargo is dropped due to failure of the electronic brake so as to forcibly stop the rotation of the gear shaft. The emergency brake device for a hoist comprises: a weight assembly which is combined with the end of the gear shaft and rotates with the gear shaft when the gear shaft abnormally rotates due to drop of the cargo; a first slant plate fixed by a parallel pin and including a first protrusion; a second slant connected to the weight assembly, rotating, closely coming into contact with the weight assembly, when the weight assembly abnormally rotates, and including a second protrusion coming into contact with the first protrusion of the first slant plate; a brake gear arranged around the gear shaft and stopping rotation of the gear shaft; and a motion transfer unit connected to the second slant plate and the brake gear and transferring a motion of the second slant plate as a motion of the brake gear.
