SWING TYPE CHECK VALVE WITH VARIABLE STOPPER FOR FLOW CONTROL

The present invention relates to a swing check valve with a variable stopper to control a flow rate that can adjust an open angle of a disc only by a configuration having the variable stopper of a simple structure, thereby easily controlling the flow rate. The swing check valve includes a valve body having an inlet port and an outlet port which are connected to a pipe, in which a fluid flows, and formed with a chamber therein; a disc rotated around a hinge shaft in the chamber of the valve body, the disc being rotated in an upstream direction when the fluid flows in a forward direction, and rotated in a downstream direction when the fluid flows in a backward direction; a locking member protruding outwardly from the valve body to engaged to the hinge shaft, and rotated together with the hinge shaft; and a variable stopper installed so that it moved to or from the hinge shaft at a position adjacent to the hinge shaft outside the valve body. The variable stopper comes into contact with the locking member to restrain the locking member not to further rotate. As the length of the variable stopper moving toward the hinge shaft is longer, the variable stopper restrains the locking member early, thereby reducing the upwardly rotating angle of the disc.
