Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for dividing a segment in a pipe of a water supply facility and a device thereof comprising a step for analyzing water supply facility pipe network data comprising the pipe path information of the water supply facility, the position information of a water valve, and the position information of a customer and dividing the segment which is separated by closing the water valve; a step for quantifying the damage to be generated by outage for each segment according to a quantification reference index and calculating an outage damage index; a step for selecting a division investigation segment according to a comparison result with a stored division investigation index and the calculated outage damage index; a step for simulating a state of adding a new water valve to the water supply facility in the selected division investigation segment and virtually generating a division segment; a step for quantifying the damage to be generated by the outage according to the quantification reference index based on the generated division segment and calculating an outage damage prediction index; and a step for determining segment division for the division investigation segment according to a comparison result between the calculated outage damage prediction index and a stored division determination index. Because an optimized sized segment is divided and managed by considering outage damage, the present invention is provided to previously prepare a solution according to the outage for each segment and minimize the outage damage by performing the solution when the outage is impossible because a pipe is damaged.
