APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING UNDERGROUND CABLE USING VEHICLE

The present invention relates to mechanized laying equipment of an underground cable and a construction method thereof and, more specifically, to mechanized laying equipment comprising a rail, a traction device, a supporting device, and a snake device. The present invention according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a cable transferring device which transfers a cable to an electric power tunnel on the ground in a state of being wound on the ground; a rail unit which is installed along a position in which the cable is laid in the electric power tunnel; a traction device which is installed in the rail unit to trace the cable; a supporting device which is mounted at constant intervals in the cable, which is traced by the trace device, and is installed in the rail unit to follow the transferred cable; and a snake device which is installed in the rail unit to perform snake work while laying the cable in a plurality of hangers fixed on the wall of the electric power tunnel. Grooves corresponding to protrusions formed in the trace device and the snake device are formed in the rail unit to prevent a slip phenomenon which is generated while moving the trace device and the snake device.
