Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a drawing press for controlling blank holding force using a magneto-rheological (MR) damper. More specifically, the present invention relates to a drawing press for controlling blank holding force using an MR damper, in which the MR damper is applied to a blank holder of the drawing press to adjust the magnitude of current applied to a coil, thereby varying the intensity of a magnetic field induced through the coil, so that the viscosity of an MR fluid is adjusted to vary elastic force of the spring. In addition, even if the molding conditions, such as the material of a material panel, the cushion pressure of the drawing press, and the shape of a product, are changed, blank holding force (BHF) can be adjusted without the installation of an additional device in a mold, so that high-quality products can be manufactured. Further, the MR damper is applied instead of a gas spring type damper requiring a gas piping work or a hydraulic cylinder type damper requiring the installation of a hydraulic pipe and a hydraulic supply, so that the blank holding force of the drawing press can be adjusted only using power supply. Accordingly, the drawing press can be realized through a simple process at a low cost. To this end, the present invention provides a drawing press for controlling blank holding force using a magneto-rheological (MR) damper, includes: a first frame mounted on a bolster, having a space corresponding to the shape of a bottom surface of a product to be machined, and supporting a panel to be machined to a product; a second frame mounted on a slide, having a protrusion part corresponding to the shape of a top surface of the product to be machined, and facing the first frame; and a blank holder spaced apart from the second frame to press the panel making contact with the top surface of the first shape and mounted on the slide. |
