Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a patterned template-assisted self-assembly organic thin film electron device and a patterned template-assisted self-assembly organic thin film electron device manufactured thereby. To achieve this, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing a patterned template-assisted self-assembly organic thin film electron device. The method comprises the steps of: preparing a template having a shape reverse to a shape to be patterned (step 1); forming an insulating layer on a substrate (step 2); introducing liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor powder on the insulating layer, covering the substrate with the template prepared in step 1, and treating the template by heating at temperatures greater than or equal to an isotropic phase transition temperature (step 3); and removing the template (step 4). According to the present invention, a template is filled with a liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor through a capillary effect only with a simple heat treatment using the liquid crystal properties of the liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor such that the liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor can be patterned into desired positions and sizes according to pattern forms of the template, thereby producing a high-performance organic thin film transistor. In addition, the liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor can be applied to various organic electron devices where the liquid crystal-type organic semiconductor is used as well as an organic thin film transistor. |
