Wireless sound signal transmitting and receiving method and system for digital information display using portable terminal

The present invention relates to a method and a system for wirelessly transmitting and receiving sound signals of a digital information display (DID) using a portable terminal, the method comprising: a streaming processing step of enabling a sound signal compression module of a wireless audio transmission unit to compress at least one DID sound signal and enabling a streaming processing module of the wireless audio transmission unit to transmit the compressed signals in real time to multiple points at the same time; a step of enabling a sound signal selection module of the portable terminal to display a DID list on a display unit of the portable terminal by automatically searching DID existing within a predetermined distance from the portable terminal; a step of enabling the sound signal selection module to receive streaming-processed signals by requesting data transmission to a wireless transmission module of the wireless audio transmission unit when desired DID information icons that a user wants to listen in the DID list are activated; and a step of enabling a sound signal decoder module of the portable terminal to reproduce the sound signal of the selected DID through a sound output module by decoding the streaming-processed signal.
