Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a catalyst to decompose explosive material, and a method to decompose explosive material using the same. The catalyst includes riboflavin and dissimilatory iron reducing bacteria and further includes iron bearing soil minerals (IBSMs). The catalyst can reductively decompose explosive material at rapid speeds and high efficiency, such that soil contaminated by the explosive material can effectively be purified.
