AN INSULATING COVER FOR PRESSURE-RELIEF DEVICE FOR THE TRANSFORMER

The present invention relates to an insulating cover which covers the entire instantaneous pressure relief device of a pole transformer to prevent damage to the pole transformer due to the intrusion of rainfall into the pole transformer and, more particularly, to an insulating cover for instantaneous pressure relief device of a pole transformer which includes: upper and lower parts integrated cylindrical body which forms a single layer structure with narrower upper and wider lower parts; and a fall prevention ring which is connected to one side of the lower part of the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body is a hollow-shaped structure which has a sealed upper part and an opened lower part, includes half-cylindrical-shaped bolt accommodation units which are equidistantly protruding along the outer periphery of the lower cylindrical body to cover the entire instantaneous pressure relief device inside. The fall prevention ring is integrally formed by a connecting line which is connected to one side of the lower part of the cylindrical body and a circular ring formed at the end of the connecting line to prevent fall of the insulating cover which is opened by the pressure of gas instantaneously jetted out from the instantaneous pressure relief device to the ground.
