ROAD CRIME PREVENTION SYSTEM USING RECOGNITION OF OPPOSITE DIRECTION DRIVE AND PEDESTRIAN

The present invention relates to a road security system to which recognition of dangerous situations of vehicles driving on the wrong side of the road and pedestrians is applied. The road security system related to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a camera which photographs at least one first vehicle continuously; a control unit which determines whether the first vehicle is driving on the wrong side of the road by using at least one among moving direction information of the first vehicle which is photographed through the camera, the vehicle plate information, and position change information and extracts information on the vehicle number of the first vehicle if the control unit determines that the first vehicle is driving on the wrong side of the road; and a wired communication unit which transmits the vehicle number information to a preset external organization in accordance with the control of the control unit.
