KEY-STONE MATTRESS BUILDING IN THE RIVER BOTTOM AND SLOPE FACE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME

The present invention relates to a key stone mattress constructed on a river bottom or a slope face and a method to construct the same wherein a key structure is made to fixate natural stone or artificial stone disposed on a steel net to the ground in order to prevent loss of the ground. According to the present invention, the key stone mattress includes: a lower steel net having a given area and a mesh size; key stone blocks distributed on the top surface of the lower steel net in such a manner as to be fixated to the ground each having an upper stone have a larger size than the mesh size of the lower steel net, and a concrete block attached to the underside of the upper stone; natural stone disposed between the neighboring key stone blocks in such a manner as to be fixated to the lower steel net; an upper steel net located above the lower steel net in such a manner so as to be in contact with the top surface of the key stone blocks and the natural stone; and an upper and a lower steel net fastening means to fasten the upper steel net and the lower steel net to each other.
