A fan heater (90) according to the present invention includes a housing (100) having a base plate (110) which opens upward covers a portion downward, a fan (120) which is accommodated in the housing (100) and fixed to the housing to blow air upward, a heater (130) which is accommodated in the housing and fixed to the housing in order to be placed above the fan (120), a heat radiation block (140) which is fixed to the upper part of the housing (100) and which covers the upper part of the housing (100), a plate-shaped cover (150) which is attached to the top surface of the heat radiation block (140), and a through hole (160) which penetrates the side of the housing (100) to be placed between the heater (130) and the heat radiation block (140). Since heated air is dispersed in all directions (all directions of the lateral direction), inconvenience of changing direction of air is resolved, skin burn accident caused by skin contact being prevented even long hour operation of the fan heater for one or more hours, and the fan heater can be installed any place where a support pole (300) can be driven into the ground. Furthermore, the fan heater can be installed to a various places such as a wall, a ceiling, and the like, thus the fan heater can be used as a general-purpose heater in a vinyl houses, production sites, general houses, and offices.
