MOTOR HAVING COOLING FUNCTION

A motor having a cooling structure according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a rotor fixed and arranged at a motor shaft to be rotatable; a rotor coil formed adjacent to the rotor; a coil protection cover installed on the motor shaft adjacent to the rotor coil and forming a cooling water chamber for filling cooling water therein; stator fixed and arranged adjacent to circumference of the rotor; and a cover making one end of the motor shaft pass to be capable of rotating the motor shaft and forming cooling pins on an inner side facing one side of the coil protection cover. Therefore, the present invention makes the cooling water, filled in the cooling water chamber of the coil protecting cover, effectively receive heat occurring at the rotor coil and effectively discharge thermal energy to the outside via the cooling pins formed in a rear cover, thereby enhancing overall durability and preventing breakdowns in surrounding components.
