EXPELLER FOR FOOD WASTE

An expeller for food waste according to the present invention includes: a case housing with an opened upper portion and a water outflow pipe provided on one side; a filtering net housing which is inserted into the case housing with a predetermined gap apart from an inner side surface of the case housing, has an opened upper portion so that food waste is put thereinto, has multiple through-holes on a side surface so that water is discharged, and is provided with a solid body outflow pipe connected to the outside through the other side of the case housing; a screw portion which has a screw blade inserted into the filtering net housing, transporting and expelling the food waste to the solid body outflow pipe side, and separating the water, and a screw shaft which is a central shaft connected to the screw blade; and a power generating unit which is provided in the case housing, is connected to the screw shaft, and transmits torque to the screw shaft. The expeller for food waste according to the present invention is an inexpensive yet reliable apparatus which is not prone to malfunctioning, has a very simple structure, and can be distributed to the maximum extent. Also, the expeller for food waste efficiently separates the water contained in the food waste and separates solids from the food waste for volume minimization, prevents the food waste remaining and rotting in the expeller for food waste, and facilitates food waste treatment.
