Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an exterior wall insulation finish and a method for manufacturing the same and, more particularly, to an exterior wall insulation finish applied to the exterior wall of a building or a structure in a spray manner, which agitates and mixes expanded vermiculite and an acrylic emulsion to spray the mixture, and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing an exterior wall insulation finish applied to the exterior wall of a building or a structure in a spray manner according to the present invention is characterized by mixing expanded vermiculite powder, which is obtained by heating vermiculite to convert the vermiculite into expanded vermiculite and passing the expanded vermiculite through cooling and aging steps; and an acrylic emulsion, wherein the expanded vermiculite powder and the acrylic emulsion are agitated and mixed (T90) at 1-3 : 1 based on the weight. The exterior wall insulation finish of the present invention is environmentally friendly without health risks since all the materials thereof are inorganic materials. The exterior wall insulation finish of the present invention can have an insulation effect equivalent to that of a 200 mm sandwich panel due to the excellent insulation effect thereof even when applied to the exterior wall with 2-3 mm and prevent flame propagation in spite of being exposed to a 1200°C flame for more than five minutes due to the high fire resistance, inflammability, and corrosion resistance thereof even when applied to the sandwich panel with 1-2 mm. The acrylic emulsion of the present invention can exhibit high adhesion to cement, wood, steel, an earthen wall, and glass materials and maintain the adhesion for more than 15 years regardless of external temperature in a state of being exposed to the outside.
