Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device and a method for protecting a water tube of an incinerator boiler to improve heat exchange efficiency through a water tube and to prevent damage to the water tube caused by direct exposure of the water tube to a flame or an exhaust gas. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for protecting a water tube of an incinerator boiler may comprise multiple protective members arranged in the longitudinal direction of the water tube on a part of a water wall covering a combustion chamber of a boiler with predetermined gaps between each other; and a connection member for attaching the protective members to the water tube.
