Zusammenfassung:	The present specification relates to an apparatus of avoiding jamming frequency and a method thereof while not wasting radar resources as allocation of an additional receive beam is not necessary and detecting the position of a jammer accurately by updating a jammer map per all investigation beam and tracing beam in real time. The apparatus of avoiding the jamming frequency of a radar system according to the disclosed embodiment of the present specification can include: a jamming frequency detection unit for detecting the frequency jammed within the frequency band which is operational in the radar system; and a control unit for selecting arbitrary frequency within the frequency band except the frequency which is jammed and detected in the operational frequency band as jamming avoiding frequency.
