CONTAINER AND THE LID OF THE PRESSURE COOKER WITH LOCKING MEANS CLOSED

The present invention relates to a pressure cooker having a sealing and locking means for a container and a lid. The sealing and locking means is produced by improving locking members which are installed on a lid in order to seal, combine, and separate a container and the lid, so that a strong sealing and combining force applied to the container and the lid can be maintained for a long time. Accordingly, the service life of the pressure cooker is extended, and user reliability can be improved. The sealing and locking means is formed on a handle at the top of the lid and has locking members installed therein in order to be attached to and detached from the outer circumferences of the container and lid. The sealing and locking means includes the locking members in two or more radial directions. A drive unit is installed inside the sealing and locking means so as to move the locking members to the inside and outside thereof by means of operation performed on the handle so that the locking members are attached to or detached from the outer circumferences of the container and lid. A cover member is mounted on the top surface of the lid so as to hide the locking members from the outside thereof.
