The present invention relates to a multi-function socket whose operation is controlled by the existence of a user. The multi-function socket reduces unnecessary energy consumption by blocking a power supply so that the power supply is not outputted if the user leaves a place and does not exist and outputting the power supply if the user returns to the place by sensing the existence of the user through a human body sensor. The multi-function socket whose operation is controlled by the existence of a user according to the present invention which has a composition like the forementioned includes: a main body which has at least one connection hole which is connected with a plug; an interrupter which outputs a power supply to the plug connected with the connection hole or interrupts the power supply; the human body sensor which is installed in the main body and senses the existence of the user; and a microcomputer which controls the interrupter depending on the sensing signal of the human body sensor.
