ELECTRIC WATER PUMP WITH COOLING UNIT FOR VEHICLES

The present invention relates to an electric water pump for vehicles and is provided to maintain temperature of a control substrate by a copper cooling member which is directly in contact with coolants circulating through a pump case. As to the electric water pump for the vehicles, a shaft is vertically installed at the center of an inner part. A ring shaped fixture is fitted into an outer periphery of a lower part and installed in an outer motor case. An inner groove is concave on an upper surface. An inner motor case comprises one or more through holes formed at the inner groove. A rotator is pivotally inserted around a shaft, and comprises a permanent magnet inside. An upper cooling plate is settled in the inner groove, and fitted on the outer periphery of the rotator. The cooling member is connected to the outer side of the cooling plate, and inserted into the through hole. The cooling member penetrates through the outer motor case, and comprises a lower cooling plate connected to the lower part of a cooling fin. The invention is provided to improve engine efficiency, and prevent thermal damage to the control substrate so that the invention maintains the temperature of the control substrate by the cooling member which is directly in contact with coolants circulating through the pump case.
