ELECTRODE FOR VACUUM INTERRUPTER

The present invention relates to an electrode for a vacuum interrupter. The electrode for a vacuum interrupter according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of main slits that is arranged at equal intervals while each extending from the surface of an end of a contact carrier towards the surface of the other end of the contact carrier to form a predetermined slope with a contact end plate; and at least one axial magnetic field inducing unit that is formed between two neighboring main slits of the main slits; wherein the axial magnetic field inducing unit induces an axial magnetic field parallel to a longitudinal direction of the contact carrier by forming a current path up and down in the circumferential direction of the contact carrier.
