Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A charge-discharge power conversion device for an energy storage device and a method thereof are provided to control a charging current in constant current without an additional resonant tank by monitoring the current of a direct current (DC) link, thereby rapidly charging a battery. CONSTITUTION: An inverter (110) is connected to a system and performs conversion between direct current and alternating current. A converter (130) is connected to a battery (140) and performs conversion between direct current and alternating current. The resonance, which is generated in the converter, is generated to reduce the loss caused by the switching of switches provided in the converter. A DC link (120) is provided between the inverter and the converter. A control unit controls the current that is output from the converter to the battery.
