A LIGHT EMITTING UNIT FOR PREVENTING APPROACH OF HARMFUL INSECTS

PURPOSE: A light emitting unit with a harmful insect repelling function is provided to repel harmful insects by emitting light of a specific wavelength band which harmful insects dislike. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting unit (1) with a harmful insect repelling function comprises a light emitting device (20) which is arranged on a circuit board and generates blue light, and a light conversion layer (30) which is coated on the light emitting device, converts the blue light emitted from the light emitting device into a specific wavelength band, and emits light of a specific wavelength band. The light conversion layer comprises a red fluorescent layer (31) which is prepared by mixing a red cadmium selenide and an epoxy resin at a 1:3 ratio and is coated on the light emitting device, and a green fluorescent layer (32) which is prepared by mixing a green cadmium selenide and an epoxy resin and is coated on the red fluorescent layer.
