CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling insects comprises a step of installing a composition prepared by mixing smokybrown cockroach densovirus, pheromone for alluring cockroaches, and feed on a path or a place where cockroaches live. The weight ratio of the smokybrown cockroach densovirus is 0.01-1 weight%. The pheromone is periplanone B and/or cis-9-tricosene and the weight ratio thereof is 0.2-20 weight%.
