PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting disconnection, a nuclear power generation controller including the same, and a method for driving the nuclear power generation controller are provided to detect the disconnection of an analog signal in a high speed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting disconnection includes an amplification part(110), a scaling part(130), an ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(150), a comparison part(120) and a main processor(160).The amplification part amplifies an analog signal inputted from an external device or a voltage signal applied from a voltage source and then generates an output signal. The scaling part controls the amplitude of the output signal generated by the amplification part. The ADC converts the output signal having adjusted amplitude into a first digital signal. The comparison part outputs a result value by comparing the amplitude of the output signal generated by the amplification part with the amplitude of a reference signal. The main processor outputs a disconnection sensing signal, or processes the first digital signal to an output signal.
