Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An arc position detecting device capable of selectively blocking a short circuit is provided to detect a position and whether an arc is generated or not at the same time by using an optical lens and an optical component. CONSTITUTION: When an arc is generated by a short circuit, a selective penetration filter for ultraviolet rays(120) removes external light from light generated in an arc. An optical lens(110) forms an image of the light in an ultraviolet range in which external light is removed in an image sensor(130), and the image sensor converts light formed in the image into a two-dimensional image signal.
