Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A pretreatment method of a biomass is provided to minimize equipment corrosion by a strong acid or base, using water as a decomposition medium. CONSTITUTION: A pretreatment method of a biomass comprises: a step of adding alkali regenerated water with a pH of 13.4, which is obtained by the electrolysis of water, to an empty fruit bunch; a step of pre-treating the same with a pressure of 7-10 bar at a temperature of 130-200 °C for 5-90 minutes; and a step of conducting saccharification for 10 hours using a cellulose enzyme. In the empty fruit bunch pre-treating, the weight ratio of the empty fruit bunch and alkali regenerated water is 1:5 - 1:12.
