AQUEDUCT AND INSTALLATION METHODS THEREOF

PURPOSE: An aqueduct and a construction method thereof are provided to widen a gap between bridge posts using a light steel structure compared with concrete, thereby preventing water flow or traffic flow from being interrupted when forming a river or a road on the lower portion of the aqueduct. CONSTITUTION: An aqueduct includes bridge posts(20), supporters(25), a water channel pipe(30), steel girders(100), steel pipes(200), and covers(300). The bridge posts are stood on the upper portion of a concrete foundation(10). The supporters have an identical height to the height of the upper ends of the bridge posts. The supporter has supporting arms(26) placed on both sides of the bridge post. The water channel pipe is supported on the upper portion of the bridge posts, and guides water flow from a reservoir to a prescribed place. The steel girders are coupled to the upper ends of the bridge posts and the supporting arms and have accommodating spaces(101) with an open upper portion. The steel pipes are accommodated inside the accommodating spaces, and are integrally coupled with the steel girders. The covers coupled to the upper portions of the steel girders isolate the accommodating spaces in order to prevent the steel pipes from being exposed to direct sunlight.
