Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A cover supporting device and a robot with the same are provided to preventing a protective cover covering the top of a driving unit from being dropped, thereby reducing malfunction caused by interference between the protective cover and the driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A robot comprises a driving unit(50), a protective cover(80), and a cover supporting unit(100). The driving unit is connected to the lower side of the base in order to move a base(20). The protective cover covers the top of the driving unit, thereby protecting the driving unit from a welding spatter. The cover supporting unit prevents the protective cover from being dropped by supporting a portion of the protective cover, thereby preventing interference between the protective cover and the driving unit.
