METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IDENTIFYING SOURCE CAMERA BY DETECTING INTERPOLATON PATTERN USED IN LENS DISTORTION CORRECTION

PURPOSE: A camera identifying apparatus is provided to identify interpolation searching for a pattern caused by a corrected lens according to different camera manufacturers and different cameras. CONSTITUTION: A camera identifying apparatus re-interpolates an image(S400). The camera identifying apparatus produces differential images obtained after re-interpolation(S402). The camera identifying apparatus searches for an interpolation pattern in an interpolation pattern library(S404). Based on the result of searching, a camera with the interpolation pattern to be used is decided(S406).
