SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MONITORING THE BEHAVIOR OF CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring the behavior of carbon dioxide are provided to measure an accurate partial pH value of carbonated water in which the carbon dioxide is dissolved by a non-contact method. CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for monitoring the behavior of carbon dioxide comprises an observation water tank(10), a carbon dioxide supply tank(20), a photographing unit(30), and an analyzing unit. Water and a universal pH indicator are mixed, thereby being contained in the observation water tank. The carbon dioxide supply tank injects carbon dioxide gas to the observation water tank. The photographing unit photographs digital images or videos of the observation water tank. The analyzing unit obtains information with respect to the movement of the carbon dioxide and the behavior of carbonated water through color variations of the digital images or videos. The analyzing unit obtains a partial pH value by comparing colors of the digital images or videos with a pH table, thereby distinguishing the carbon dioxide and the carbonated water.
