Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for measuring a friction coefficient of a model ship is provided to easily and accurately measure and calculate a frictional coefficient between a model ship and a model glacier, thereby improving the reliability and accuracy of a model glacier test. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a friction coefficient of a model ship comprises next steps. A wooden plate simulating the model ship is mounted on a wooden plate mounting jig(2). A model glacier is mounted on a model glacier mounting jig(4). A servo motor(6) connected to the model glacier mounting jig with a connection rod drives the model glacier mounting jig. The model glacier mounting rubs the model glacier with the wooden plate while moving back and forth. A load cell(7) measures the weight of the model glacier and frictional force between the model glacier and the wooden plate.
