Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for 2D and 3D virtual face modeling is to give a 3D effect to human faces with different textures or structures while maintaining consistency. CONSTITUTION: A first and second face image is input(S101). The input image is arranged(S102). A local characteristic of a first face image is detected(S103). A patch library including all patches of a second face image is generated(S104). An output face image for the second face image is initialized(S105). The patch corresponding to each pixel point of the output face image is detected from the generated patch library. The detected patches are reunited(S106). The detected local characteristic is delivered to the output face image(S107).
