THE AUTO CUTTING-REMAVAL SYSTEM OF AUTOMOBILE WHEEL CASTING

PURPOSE: A clamping device for fixing a car wheel is provided to quickly and precisely remove gates from a car wheel produced in a casting process. CONSTITUTION: A clamping device for fixing a car wheel comprises a 3-axis clamping chuck(310) and a spindle-type centering regulator(330). The 3-axis clamping chuck comprises three guide grooves(312), three clamps(313) which are arranged in an equilateral triangle shape in the respective guide grooves and simultaneously moved toward the center of a support plate(311), and three hydraulic cylinders(314) which are installed under the respective clamps to simultaneously move the clamps back and forth. The three clamps are simultaneously tightened by operating the hydraulic cylinders and, at the same time, a fixing unit for clamp separation prevention is operated to evenly clamp three points of the outer lower side of a wheel. The spindle-type centering regulator comprises a spindle which is inserted in a shaft coupling hole of the wheel and idles to accurately hold the center of the wheel at the time of clamping.
