Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A rotor bar malfunction diagnosis system of an induction motor is provided to precisely diagnose whether a rotor bar of the induction motor is out of action or not under the light load condition. CONSTITUTION: A rotor bar malfunction diagnosis system of an induction motor comprises a current detector(110), an operating unit(120), and a diagnosis processing unit(130). The operating unit inputs motor specification information including power frequency of the induction motor, the number of rotor slots, the number of polarities, rated service speed, and synchronous speed. The current detector detects a current passing through a power supplying line connected with the induction motor. The diagnosis processing unit diagnoses whether a rotor bar of the induction motor is out of action or not from the motor specification information.
