POWER TRANSMISSION/DISTRIBUTION TERMINAL DEVICE AND ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A power transmission/distribution terminal device of an energy storage system and an energy storage system including the same are provided to improve the service life and stability of the system by removing charge/discharge unbalance due to the line resistance difference of input-output lines. CONSTITUTION: An energy storage system manages electricity from a power source including a generating station, an outside power net, an electromobile etc. The energy storage system comprises a module assembly(110) and a battery management system. A BMS(Battery Management System) comprises a sensing unit, a central control unit, a cell balancing unit, and a communication unit. The sensing unit is electrically connected to each cell constituting a battery pack(112) through a plurality of cell connection terminals. The sensing unit senses cell voltage, a voltage battery terminal, battery current, and the temperature of a battery cell. A transmission/distribution terminal device(200) is installed between an internal input-output line and an external transmission/distribution electric line. The transmission/distribution terminal device comprises a main terminal(210) and two or more sub terminals(220).
