Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: Natural nonpoint source purifying apparatus and method for purifying reservoir are provided to control the discharge and the transfer of treating water and to adjust the introduction of nonpoint pollutants. CONSTITUTION: A natural nonpoint source purifying apparatus(310) includes a water storing bath(320), a pre-treating part(330), a first vertical filtering artificial wetland(350), a horizontal filtering artificial wetland(360), a final treating bath(370), a second vertical filtering artificial wetland(380), and a controlling unit. The water storing bath is composed of either a structure buried under the ground or a pond installed on the surface of the ground. The horizontal filtering artificial wetland induces the horizontal flow of treating water from the first vertical filtering artificial wetland and eliminates pollutants from the treating water. The second vertical filtering artificial wetland supplies air to increase the dissolved oxygen of the treating water.
