SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE METERING OF POWER USAGE

PURPOSE: A voltage usage amount remote read system and method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by effectively transmitting measured data through voltage line communication or wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: A voltage usage amount remote read system(1000) includes a voltage meter(100), a data collection apparatus(200), and a read server(300). The voltage meter includes a measuring unit and a communication unit. The measuring unit measures power consumption by being respectively installed at plural consumption locations. A communication unit transmits the measured data through a voltage line communication or a wireless communication. A data collection apparatus measures the strength of a signal transmitted by the voltage line communication from the voltage meter. The read server collects the measured data from the data collection unit.
