Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A synchronization method of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce influence of Doppler effect and frequency offset. CONSTITUTION: An interpolating unit(520) interpolates pilots within a reception symbol. The interpolation unit calculates a phase value corresponding to a pilot index of adjacent symbols. An accumulating unit(530) accumulates phase values corresponding to a pilot index of the adjacent symbol. A differential calculating unit(540) performs differential operation between the equalized phases. An estimating unit(550) estimates timing offset of the adjacent reception symbol.
