DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING OF ENERGY USAGE AND CARBON EMISSIONS

PURPOSE: A display device and a method for monitoring of energy usage and carbon emission are provided to calculate the amount of carbon emission and display the calculated value to a user. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting module(31) collects information about power consumption, temperature, and humidity from a sensor which is attached to a server of a data center and an air conditioning facility. A carbon emission converting module(32) changes consumption level into a carbon emission level. A statistics processing module(33) processes the power consumption level, the carbon emission level, and information about temperature and humidity into statistics data. A database(38) stores the statistical data. If temperature and humidity of the air conditioning facility exceeds a preset range, an alarm module(36) creates an informing message.
