Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A composition containing polygamma glutamic acid is provided to improve blood cholesterol level and to ensure anticoagulation effect without side effects and toxicity. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases caused by cholesterol high content contains polygamma glutamic acid or salt thereof as an active ingredient. The diseases are obesity, hyperlipidemia, thrombosis, arteriosclerosis, or myocardial infarction. The salt is sodium salt, potassium salt, calcium salt, ammonium salt, or zinc salt. The polygamma galumatic acid is prepared by Bacillus subtilis strain.
