Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A bad smell treatment unit and a bad smell treatment method are provided, which can improve bad smell removal efficiency and reduce electrical energy consumption. CONSTITUTION: A bad smell treatment unit comprises: a power supply unit(150) sanctioning power for corona discharge to a discharge electrode, a ground electrode, a discharge electrode, and a ground electrode; a corona discharge part(100) which blocks flow path of the air; a bad smell removing catalyst(130) which is filled in an accommodation space, is arranged at the rear of a front plate, is activated by corona discharge, and generates bad smell removing material; and an ozone decomposition catalyzer(160) offered on the flow path of the air.
