Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An expansion joint device for waterproofing and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce the construction cost, the manufacturing cost, and the construction time with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint device for waterproofing comprises a pair of cutoff members(10), a filling material(20), and a joint filler. The cutoff members are installed between a pair of concrete structures(C) composed of inner walls(IC) and outer walls(OC). A cutoff plate, a filling part, and a coupling part are formed in the cutoff member. The filling part of the cutoff members are filled with the filling material. The joint filler is assembled in the coupling part of the cutoff members.
