Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A synchronization using a legacy short training symbol is provided to reduce the number of complex multipliers applying an autocorrelation based structure for obtaining the low precise time synchronization. CONSTITUTION: An autocorrelation function producer produces an autocorrelation function of a receiving signal using a legacy short training symbol by a preamble format of a HT mixed mode of an IEE 802.11n draft standard. An adder adds the output of the autocorrelation function. A subtracter outputs the low precise time synchronization function by removing the plane from the added value of the added autocorrelation function. A register(202,204) stores a legacy long training symbol with a conjugate complex number symmetric characteristic by the preamble format. A comparator(210) produces the precise time synchronization function by comparing the symbols of the legacy long training symbols stored in the register. A controller sets a search section window based on the low precise time synchronization function outputted from a low precise time synchronization estimator and obtains the time synchronization by searching the maximum value of the precise time synchronization function in the search section window.
