Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A hud device for a vehicle is provided to keep a travel information image bright by controlling the amount of light. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(12) illuminates a backplane of a liquid crystal panel. An optical system(14) adjusts the focus by reducing or expanding the travel information image indicated on the liquid crystal panel. A back mirror(16) reflects the travel information image controlled by the optical system to a front glass(18) of a vehicle. A light sensing member(20) senses the quantity of light of the front glass peripheral unit.
