Zusammenfassung:	An electronic-payment type meter rate trash basket is provided to prevent waste from being illegally chucked out by opening a door of a waste meter rate container in case the insertion of a card is confirmed. An electronic-payment type meter rate trash basket comprises an inlet part(100) and a storage(200). In the inlet part, a waste meter-rate container(101) collecting wastes is inserted. The storage stores the waste by being supplied with the waste by the inlet part. The inlet part comprises a case(110), an inlet hole, a door(120), a flip box, a falling slot, a card reader and a controller. The case isolates an outer space and an inner space. The inlet hole is formed in the case to accept the waste meter-rate container. The flip box supports the waste meter-rate container inserted through the inlet hole. The flip box rotates the waste meter-rate container between the origin position and the flip position. The falling slot is formed in the case to pass the waste from the waste meter-rate container to the storage.
