Zusammenfassung:A skid steering type vehicle and a steering method thereof are provided to maintain the horizontal position of a vehicle by minimizing influence on a wheel due to external force through the surface in the steering of the vehicle. A skid steering type vehicle comprises: a main body(110) in which a plurality of arms(121-124) are connected to both sides to be rotated; a plurality of wheels(131-134) which are connected to the arms respectively to be rotated; a skid steering unit facing the main body; and an arm drive unit rotating and driving the arm before the steering of the main body or in the steering of the main body. The arm drive unit maintains the horizontal position of the main body in the steering of the main body.
